Section 01

Purpose

Josh Talks is committed to protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation. This policy outlines the preventive measures, reporting protocols, and enforcement mechanisms that the Josh Talks English Speaking App and Josh Talks Family App adopt to ensure a safe digital environment in compliance with applicable laws and Google Play’s Developer Program Policy.

Section 02

Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All users of the Josh Talks English Speaking App and Josh Talks Family App.
  • All content uploaded, shared, or accessed through the app.
  • All team members, moderators, and third-party contractors managing or maintaining the app.
Section 03

Prohibited Content

Josh Talks strictly prohibits the following:

  • Content that depicts, promotes, or facilitates child sexual abuse, exploitation, or any form of sexualization of minors.
  • Sharing, uploading, or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including real, animated, or digitally altered content.
  • Inappropriate content that targets or involves minors, including grooming, predatory behavior, or solicitation.
  • Any communication or conduct designed to exploit children sexually or emotionally.
Violators will be permanently banned and reported to law enforcement and relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Section 04

Content Moderation & Detection

Josh Talks employs a combination of the following to detect and prevent abuse:

  • Automated filters and detection tools to identify and block CSAM or related content.
  • Manual moderation by trained reviewers to assess flagged content.
  • User reporting mechanisms for suspected child endangerment or inappropriate behavior.
Section 05

Reporting Mechanism

Users are encouraged to report any violations related to child safety through:

  • In-app “Report” feature available on all content and user profiles.

All reports involving potential child abuse will be reviewed immediately and, if necessary, escalated to the appropriate authorities.
Section 06

Enforcement & Cooperation with Law Enforcement

  • Josh Talks reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in any child sexual exploitation behavior.
  • We cooperate fully with law enforcement and child protection agencies, including complying with valid legal requests for information.
Section 07

Training and Awareness

All Josh Talks staff and moderators receive mandatory training on:

  • Recognizing signs of child sexual abuse and exploitation.
  • Responsible reporting procedures.
  • Legal obligations under applicable child protection laws, including the POCSO Act in India.
Section 08

Data Protection & Confidentiality

Reports and user information are handled confidentially and in compliance with data protection laws. Information is disclosed only as required by law or to protect a child’s safety.

Section 09

Updates to the Policy

Josh Talks reserves the right to update this policy periodically to remain compliant with evolving legal and platform requirements. Users will be notified of any significant changes through the app or email.
